Flare and Sunburst are the two versions available on Image Fx. Both let you create images from text or edit reference images, with the same resolution options and credit prices. Try the same prompt in each to see which result you prefer.
To create an image from text, describe what you want and choose a resolution. To edit a photo, upload it and explain what to change or keep. You can also select “Edit this image” on a result to use it as your next reference.
Yes. Choose 1K, 2K or 4K, with square, portrait and landscape formats, including 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9. The 27:16, 16:27, 9:8 and 8:9 ratios are available in 1K only. The form adjusts the resolution when you choose one of these.
Each image costs 6 credits at 1K, 10 at 2K or 16 at 4K. Flare and Sunburst cost the same. You can create up to four images at a time; the total is shown before you start. For example, two 2K images cost 20 credits.
Yes. Choose “Transparent” under Background, then describe your subject. This is useful for product cutouts, stickers and design elements. Choose “Opaque” for a visible background, or “Auto” to let GPT Image 2.5 choose.
If generation fails, the credits used for that image are returned. If the result is still unavailable, choose “Check again” to look for it without starting or paying for another image. A delay alone does not mean the image has failed.
No. GPT Image 2.5 is a paid tool on Image Fx. You need an active subscription or a remaining balance of purchased credits, plus enough credits for your images. A free account alone does not unlock this model.
Start with the subject, then add the setting, lighting and style. For example: “A ceramic coffee cup on a wooden table, soft morning light, close-up product photo.” For edits, say what should stay the same and what you want to change.
You can add up to 16 JPG, PNG or WEBP images, up to 30 MB each. Upload a photo or paste a direct image link. Use clear references and explain how you want them to guide the result.
